Coaching: the intersection of book and breakthrough...
Book coaching is rarely just about the book. Yes, we'll work on structure, voice, pacing, and the shape of your story, but, in my experience, that is often the tip of the iceberg. The true value of our work together lies in the exploration of your why—not just with regard to your book, but your life as well. My intention is always for you to achieve clarity and ground into the knowing that what you have to say is worth sharing.
What Book Coaching Looks Like
Just as every client comes to me at a different stage and with different needs, the process will also be different. Some clients need a session or two to get unstuck and find their direction. Others want ongoing support from the concept to the finished manuscript—a thinking partner who knows their work as well as they do.
Wherever you are, I'll meet you there.
Here's what we might work on together:
-
Developing and pressure-testing your core idea—figuring out what your book is really about and who it's truly for.
-
Structuring your manuscript so it has momentum, coherence, and a shape that serves the reader.
-
Moving through blocks—perfectionism, fear, the inner critic that convinces you your story isn't worth telling.
-
Building accountability into your process so the book actually gets written, not just imagined.
-
Navigating the publishing landscape—traditional, hybrid, or self-publishing—so you can make informed decisions about what comes next.
Who I Work With
My coaching clients are a wonderfully varied group of brilliant and gifted individuals. Some are first-time authors with a transformational story they've been holding onto for years and finally feel ready to tell. Some are coaches, consultants, intuitives, or executives who have a methodology or body of work they want to crystallize into a book. Some are people in the middle of a major life transition—healing, reinvention, loss, discovery—and writing is how they're making sense of it.
What they share is this: they have something real to say, and they want to say it well.
Intuitive Guidance
Much of my work is intuitive. Over the years I've developed a deep capacity for energetic connection with my clients—an ability to sense what's underneath the surface of a story, what wants to be said that hasn't yet found its words, and where the real heart of a manuscript lives.
For some clients, this is exactly what they're looking for—a guide who brings not just craft knowledge but a presence and attunement that goes beyond the page. For others, it simply informs the way I listen and respond, without ever needing to be named.
Either way, you'll feel it in the work.
How to Get Started
Coaching engagements begin with a conversation. We'll talk about where you are, what you're working on, and what kind of support would serve you best. From there, we can design something that fits your project, your timeline, and the way you work.
